Renting from a business or individual without a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) may leave you without accommodations as the RV/camping equipment may be turned away upon delivery. It is illegal to conduct business in a park area without a permit, contract, or other written agreement. Reservations at Watchman Campground (Call 87 or visit are recommended if you would like to guarantee a camping spot.ĪTTENTION: If you plan on renting an RV or camping equipment and having it delivered to Zion National Park, it is your responsibility to make sure that the individual or business that you are renting the equipment from has a valid permit to do business in the park. From mid-March through late November the campgrounds are full almost every night. Camping is only permitted in designated campsites, and not in road pullouts or parking lots (including the oversize parking lot near the Zion Canyon Visitor Center). There are no campgrounds in Kolob Canyons. Lava Point Campground is about a 1-hour drive from Zion Canyon on the Kolob Terrace Road (closed in winter).Make reservations in the open part of the campground up to two weeks ahead of time. South Campground is partially closed for a long-term rehabilitation project.Make reservations up to six months ahead of your visit.
